In all honesty, I don't think, it fits the db. Upload any photo of aircraft and airports, but not museums.

Maybe try putting in the reg of the aircraft closest to you?

Oh, very well....I understand your opinion, but that is not what I asked for here. Maybe I will not bother uploading the shot here, shame really, as I do feel there is more relevant aviation content, in the shot, which includes many interesting airframes at an outdoor aviation museum, than many that are already in the db.. I also would have thought that the screeners actually decide on suitable motive for inclusion to the db?

Sounds like an interesting shot, seems a shame not to see it!

Try to upload it as a ramp shot.

...it's the Gatwick aviation museum, as seen from a r/w 26R departure.
Any suggestions...and/or opinions now appreciated?

Thanks & rgds.

The image seems a bit blurry, do you have another one ?...

But....

For upload purposes that's part of Gatwick so I would say...

-Upload as EGKK. Put EGKK in both the registration and the ICAO identifier fields.
-Click autofill.
-Aircraft will default to Airport. Leave this alone.
-For Airline select Ramp.
-Tick Warbird/Vintage category as all aircraft shown are museum pieces.
-In Photographer's remarks leave a note such as "Gatwick Airport Aviation museum as seen on departure from runway 26L". (NOTE...it's 26L, not 26R. 26R/08L is now a taxiway)

Alternative possibility might be..

-Use the registration of the aircraft you are on.
-Leave the 4 letter identifier field empty.
-Click Autofill, aircraft details should autofill.
-For location use the Other Location option, enter "United Kingdom" for the country and type "Gatwick Aviation Museum" in the Other location field.
-Select the Warbird/Vintage category.

Any crew comments please for a consensus opinion ?
