Allegiant getting 19 319s

Apparently these will be used to "support the carrier's growth." Interesting move by G4. It appears it has finally decided to start using more fuel-efficient types given the ever-high cost of jet fuel.

I wonder if the leased A319s will be ex Easyjet examples? Definately an interesting move by Allegiant i suspect their colours will look rather nice on the A319.

"Allegiant Travel says nine of the aircraft will be former EasyJet aircraft on 96-month operating leases from GE Capital Aviation Services. The remaining 10 will be on capital leases from Philippines-based Cebu Pacific for 60 months, after which Allegiant will own the aircraft."
