    Hy there!

I have a rejection which confused me!

After recieving a rejection with "wrong cathegory" for this picture and for an other glider picture with the same information but without any writing from the screener I thought it must be the "warbird/vintage" cathegory which I used on both pictures as always for these types and which was no problem until now!

The Ka6 serries were built between 1955 and 1970 and so they normaly fits into the "vintage" cathegory as written in the guidlines (teh same for teh Ka8 serries).
So I apealed it of course because I thought the screener did something wrong.
But the apeal was also rejected with the notice "Vintage only for the specific a/c, not the entire type in general. It could use some usm"

What is wrong and what does "usm" stand for?

The screener is referring to when the individual aircraft pictured was built. A 1950 build is vintage but a 1970 build is not even if it is the same type.

USM refers to Unsharp Mask sharpening.
If it 'ain't broken........ Don't try to mend it !
