  • Night Shot?

    Hi

I have just uploaded a few photos I took last week. One were taken around sunset. I was wondering if it's "night shot" or just regular shot.

    Thanks For The Help

Item 2.2 (Categories) of the Photo Upload Guidelines, found on the upload page will tell you all about it.

      Hi Ido,

They definitely need the "night shot" category selected.

From they upload page you can read the following

      Detailed Photo Upload Guidelines
      Updated: 21 March 2013
These guidelines are required reading for all JetPhotos.Net photo contributors! Please make sure you have read and understand them before attempting to upload photos!
There you can read the following

Night Shots This category should apply for the following: - Dawn, Dusk & Night. For Dusk & Dawn shots these should show a red-orange glow and long shadows. Dusk or dawn shots where the aircraft is a silhouette in front of a rising or setting sun would be a time where backlit shots are acceptable and Night Shot would apply. The sun needs to be very close to the horizon for Night Shot to apply.

So all that to remind you that that guideline is quiet an interesting read which will help you have a good acceptance ratio and a lot of fun on JP !

      With best regards
      Alex
