Default ATR42 undercarriage collapse - Jersey

At 8.23am this morning, G-DRFC, a Blue Islands ATR42 (and one of the eldest in service, LN 7) suffered a left main gear collapse while turning off Rwy 27 after landing at Jersey.

Aircraft is still blocking the runway and is expect to be there until at least mid-day.

Here's another shot of 'DRFC, from the far side of the runway:

Current expectation is that the airport will reopen at 14.30z (15.30 local); many flights delayed/cancelled; Saturday is usually by far the busiest day of the week.

The runway reopened just before 4pm, the first arrival being a Manx2 flight from the Isle of Man.
