What's up guys, this might be a kind of idiotic question, but one that i've been curious about for some time.
But what would happen to a flight that is airborne, if the operating carrier was to liquidate or go into administration?
This has happened in the cases of several UK airlines (Globespan, Excel, Zoom etc etc)
Would the flight continue as planned? Even if it had several hours remaining?
Would it divert? If so what would happen, would they just announce to the passengers "Sorry we are diverting to xxxxx as we've gone into administration"??
Regards
