  • Military a/c with Civil Registrations

    Folks,

    Just had two photos accepted:

    http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=8080190

    http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=8080196

The screener noted that the registration was corrected to the military registration. This was a nice courtesy (Thank you), fixing, rather than rejecting, but the aircraft was wearing civil registration - F-RBAG (just not visible in the images.). I had used the civil registration in uploading but I don't think I noted that in the note to screeners.

Going forward, I presume I use the military registration (if visible/known) even if Civil registration is displayed on the aircraft?

    Thanks

    Mark

We do not use the French civil markings on French military aircraft. The autofill normally asks an uploader to use the military registration but for some reason the autofill has not been updated on this one as it still shows the aircraft as being a Nord 262. I have requested a data change.

Note to Erwin. I have requested autofill updates for both F-RBAG and 0019. Apologies if this is the wrong thing to do but I have no idea how to modify the autofill, especially when it involves the instruction to use the military registration.
If it 'ain't broken........ Don't try to mend it !
