    Would this photo be acceptable? Its a shot taken at GK with tanker 63-8030

    Nice shot but it needs a much tighter crop and centreing. Tankers by the way do not require cargo category.

      To me the photo looks good but a little more centering would make it look better. Have a day

        Thanks for the replies! For me it was a shot to create a nice atmosphere, together with the beach at Geilenkirchen, Thats why I had chosen this kind of crop

          Don'tforget that this is jetphotos.net and we are more of an aviation database. Pictures where the aircraft is not filling the frame need to have a particularly spectacular background to be accepted.
          I'm not saying that this is not a good photograph, it is but it's not the kind of picture that we go for as a wider angle view.

            Would a shot like that not be applicable to be uploaded as a "spotting location"? Or is there not enough "location" to warrant that category?

              Actually, I hadn't thought of that. Provided it is a location legally available to public access it has the required elements of a spotting location. All it needs is a latitude/longitude reference.

                TBH the location is not prominent enough. About 80-90% is simply showing sky.
