    • I am desperately trying to stay away from this addiction, but more and more, I am being drawn in. Currently, I have contact to a collector in Germany whose wife is pissed off with all his models, and demanded he sell some. Thus far, I have gained about 6 from him, all quite old, and originally packed...Herpa models, in 1:500 scale. Lord help me...I need more!!!

        I am hoping to get an air canada jazz CRJ 705 which is sold out everywhere but one place that I found. Also a Hawaiian A330-200 and a KLM MD-11. And lots of accesories for my Airport diorama and my Gemini Jets model Airport.

          Tim, stay away from th 1/500 (too many ugly big wheel models)
          1/400 is the way to go !!!!!

          • in addition to a 2 schabaks from the 96 that i wrecked as a kid, and 2 cheapos, i now have a 1/200 hogan wings 787, given as a gift by relatives from the boeing factory, i love it!

            yes i am a boeing fan, and i know thats a airbus, haha
