Do you happen to know why they leased/operated the 767? Were they waiting for new aircraft to arrive? Were they interested in an order for the type?

Either way, it was a gorgeous aircraft in those colors - much as the retro Condor 767.

The 767 was already in the inventory of Condor, so I assume, when they needed a bit more capacity, it was easier and cheaper to use an aircraft from their (then) wholly-owned subsidiary, than lease one on the open market.
