A C-130 crashed Sunday (7/1/12) while fighting a fire in South Dakota.
It is not clear from this news announcement if there are fatalities.

I live north of Denver and see C-130 plus other older two and four engine aircraft flying overhead frequently My local airport KBJC is a staging point for these aircraft.
Update: One fatality so far out of a crew of 6.
