I read recently that the viewing terrace at Sydney Airport closed recently however the airport management were able to come up with an agreement with Rydge's Hotel to open a balcony/rooftop up for spotters for a $10 fee er person.
From the Rydge's Hotel facebook page:
Our Rooftop is open for Business!
Today, Firday 7th March 2014, our Rooftop is open to the Public. It is $10 per person and includes a beverage from our Touch & Go Cafe, a Family Pass is also available for 2 Adults & 2 Children for only $30.
You will also receive a Plane Spotter Information sheet along with a key card from reception that will give you access to our rooftop.
As it's been open for a week, has anyone been and what are the viewing like?
