Nothing that odd about it, it is a seasonal adjustment.
I understand that. By 'odd' I mean that with a location like LHR, I am surprised that AA is not able to fill a 772 year round. Understandably, there is need to reduce to a 763, however with AA now gaining access to US's passenger shares, their extensive flows, and the Trans-Atlantic JV, we are likely to see upgauging LHR as effeciences of the merge increase.
Don't forget AA also has 789s on order, so those will probably get in the mix too. I can see CLT becoming a 350-dominant hub, but I think they'll be spread across MIA, ORD, JFK, CLT and DFW. Plus some of the lower-traffic Pacific routes, like the HND flights for instance.
I think that you are right. I can't wait to see how the 789s are deployed. The A350s are going to be a welcome addition. Things are surely going to get interesting!
