  • Crop dusting plane shot while flying over Lawrence County

Lisa Kingsley gets chills when she counts the bullet holes in her friend's plane.

"Here's one on the wing and then another in the back," Kingsley said. "It's scary."

Mount a .50cal machine gun under the wing and shoot back at the bastards !

Or maybe take an "old school" approach:
Be alert! America needs more lerts.

Looks more like buckshot. I never hunted geese but high flying birds like that used to require long barrel large bore, almost cannon like guns.

My first thought was weed killers vs. farmers of not-so-legal crops.

But maybe they were just messing up the duck hunting.

You're probably right 'maniac. The ragged entry and denting of the paint around the impact sites is suggestive of a relatively low velocity round ball such as SSG shot from a 10 or 12 gauge magnum shotgun. A higher velocity automatic rifle or machine gun would leave more defined holes. Whatever happens, the FBI need to get their act together on this one.

It would be terribly hard to shoot "12 bullet holes" in a plane going low and fast in such a tight pattern.

A reporter running through the straw, but never a plane.
