Nice and clean shot. I'd personally rotate 0.5° CCW.

Not sure if it's sharp enough at that size.

I had to shoot this one at ISO1250 so it has quite a bit of noise, but would it stand a chance since it would only be the second photo of this F-100 in the DB and the somewhat dramatic lighting?

Hi Screeners

Just wondering if you think these stand a chance of making the DB

Cheers

It is a tad dark and the verticals in the middle lean somewhat to the right. Just adjust it,it is a very nice image, I am quite sure it will get accepted.

First one needs a tad CCW rotation, second one is OK.

cheers, Pamela

Wondering what category to load this under?

Ramp or registration of the front plane?

I thought this was a nice collection of Texans!

Thanks,
jeremy

Hi Oliver,

I would advice to crop both images with the stabilizer

Cheers,

Jan

Thanks for the advice. Unfornately the stabilizer is not in the frame on both original files.

Jeremy, as not much is showing of the first aircraft, a ramp shot would be the better option for uploading however I think this is one for the personal collection. With some of the tyres cut off at the bottom and with half the aircraft out of focus, I don't think it'd be suitable for the database.

Oliver, whilst Jan gives some good advice about leaving the horizontal stabilisers in the frame, I would happily accept the Emirates A380 as it looks and feels balanced so it should be ok for the database. As for the BA 777, I'd guess it would stand a good chance of being accepted as well.

Dave

The first and third one would work for me as ramp shots.

Thanks for the quick answer. Shouldn't be the first one a wing shot as you can see the winglet?

Could do, however I'd argue the main motive is the ramp rather than the winglet. Maybe add a bit of contrast as well.

Would this one be something for the db? Is it too much grain in it and is the horizon level? Anything else?

Hi!
Is this picture level? If not, what reference should I use? I can't seem to nail it here. Every attempt I made doesn't satisfy me 100%, but this is the best I could get

http://www.jetphotos.net/viewqueued_b.php?id=3952827

thanks in advance!

Needs some more sharpening and it is OK. Just make sure you select night category, from the the light it is obvious dusk or dawn.
