About MNG Cargo - a question for Admins
Hi Admins ,
First, I apologize in advance about my bad English...
I wanted to ask this question for a long time ago, but I forgot about it ... Now I saw this picture, and it's reminded me of the subject.
The question is this:
Why do you insist to include all the photos of "MNG Airlines Cargo" as "MNG Airlines", without mentioning the "Cargo" in the name of the Airline ?
Why you not treat in these cases as any other cargo airline, with a unique way to the cargo section ?
I would hope to get a reasonable explanation to this question.
Best regards,
Erez.
PS
By the way, there are some other cases that seem unnecessary to me as an irrational insistence, but that if I do in the future ...
Just a small example: Insistence on the "Swiss European Air Lines" vs "Swiss International Air Lines". This differentiation does not necessarily seem so important.

Because the name of the airline is MNG Airlines. See http://www.mngairlines.com/TR/Anasayfa.aspx
And Swiss European is a is a subsidiary of Swiss International Air Lines. So different airline.

MNG Airlines is the same as MNG Cargo. ICAO code MNB
Swis European is a subsidiary of Swiss International: ICAO code: SWU
Swiss International is the parten of Swiss European: ICAO code: SWR
If an airline has its own ICAO code it is added to the db.

...And I think the format should be separated. But this is just my opinion, that of course not requires that no one ...

I understand it, I just pointed out there are many cases where the codes of the passengers section and cargo section is the same code, but it's separate on the database.
So I do not understand the stubbornness with MNG.
By the way, I wrote this post to the admins, so I would love to get any answers from them.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry Erez but your latest reply ..... We are trying to help you but you dismiss this and tell us that we are stubborn!
MNG Airlines is only flying cargo and they are calling them self MNG Airlines. What is not clear in this?
The once flew Pax but not anymore...\\

Erwin,
Despite some of the crew replied that "there is no problem of language barrier", probably there is yet language barrier.
I used with "Google translation" to translate from/into English, and the "machine" does not make always the "job" correctly, so then there's certainly a language barrier.
I not dismiss your help at all. I appreciate very much the answers and the help .
Maybe I have a mistake, but in my humble opinion the issue of MNG it's a little stubbornness.
Thanks anyway for your time, I appreciate it very much !
Yours,
Erez.

MNG Kargo and MNG airlines both belong to the MNG group. MNG Kargo is a cargo service provider using the aircraft of MNG Airlines. The planes are operated by MNG Airlines.
So when you ask for the airline it is MNG Airlines, as MNG Kargo is no airline.

If so, I ask another questions:
Is "EL-AL Cargo" it is a Airline ?
Is "KLM Cargo" it is a Airline ?

My point is: When the word "CARGO" appears clearly on the airplane.
That's my point.
On The airplanes of Kalitta this word does not appear !

Erez, we put a lot of work into the accuracy of information on this site.
I am not sure what you are trying to achieve in this thread. Many airlines run their cargo divisions autonomously, others don't.
Please follow the advice given by our crew members.

it's basically the same as this
The airline operating the cargo courier is still the same airline... I'll use my example to explain.
The plane says Air Canada Cargo Express, it is a cargo only aircraft.
But Air Canada operated it, the pilots from Air Canada flew the plane, the cargo was signed off by Air Canada, and, as stated above, the IACO code is the same as the mother airline, in this case ACA.
so the answer to your question is simple: It is more accurate to have it on the database as the same airline because it is the same airline... wording on the aircraft doesn't make it that airline.
When Jazz leased 757's last year from Thomas Cook, they didn't paint over the planes, so it still said Thomas Cook. But it is still operated by Jazz.

And why is Polar Polar Air Cargo and not Polar like the planes say. I don't see the point of this.
(Polar's planes used to say Polar Air Cargo a while back, but IIRC, their AOC is still Polar Air Cargo)

Dear AJ,
I'm not trying to achieve anything, just to know why there is no "MNG Airlines Cargo" on the database, as it's shows on the aircrafts, as I explained above, thats all.
Thanks for your time.
Best regards,
Erez.

I think That the cases in your examples are not similar cases at all, compared the case of MNG, But OK, I understanding the backing here to the management's decisions, that's OK...

Briefly, as I wrote for a long time about various topics, The consistency is not always consistency ...

So how would you handle an all white cargo aircraft? Upload it as Untitled? And one with only Cargo titles? Upload that as Cargo only? :-S

Are you kidding while I'm not kidding, because IMO the issue is not a joke, and I asked in all seriousness, but as you wish...
