Hi, was wondering if this could pass as a spotting location one? Thanks.

Kevin, I'd have to say no, as the main focus of a spotting lcoation upload should be the location itself, in your image the people are out of focus and it doesn't show much regarding the location itself.
I would imagine the only way to get a spotting location image here is to stand well back and photograph the people and the general platform area, with an aircraft in the sky in the background.

Ryan, Sharp is fine. Horizon, without looking in ps with the grid I would have a guess that it needs .25 ccw rotation. Look at the edge of the hangar and the light pole with the grid in ps.

I was thinking the same thing but I think it is due to some distortion from the the lens (18-55mm), I will give it another go though and see how some ccw does. Thanks Brenden!

Is the crop ok in the first photo? Anything else to improve?
My guess for the photo from behind is that it won't make the db untill hell freezes over or is there any way to improve that one too?

Both Air China A330's are fine, and there are many photos in the database like that.

Ok, thanks. I thought the second on had to much heat haze for the db.

I did some re-editing on some of my shots and would like some input, especially in terms of appropriate crops, sharpness, and noise.
Thanks!
Jerry

It is soft and lacks contrast. I see it is also saved at a low quality, that increases the soft feel it has. Improvements are easily made: improve contrast, give it some sharpening and save at a higher quality. For all these items there are (older) threads on this forum that you can use for more info. Success!
cheers, Pamela

Hi,
I would just put a little 0.3 CCW and add some sharpening on the 1st one. The other 2 look really nice
Best regards
Alex

[quote=RCoulter;599311]How is the leveling on this one? I had to battle distortion again so I have a feeling it may need some rotation...
0.23 CW doesn't make big difference (in my opinion - rookie's opinion)
Ooops! Limited to CREW reply ONLY
