First one is soft and a tad dark. Second is soft and lacks some contrast.Third could use some sharpening. Fourth looks acceptable to me. Last one, the crop is OK, but it looks dark and has a greenish tint.

Hi, I gave these another shot.

I'm still not hugely confident, but they're better than the dark clusters I started off with!

Thanks for your time I just uploaded them, and I brightened up the second one a little.

Hello Screeners;

How is the horizon/leveling of this picture? This guy touched down really late and required a unique angle.

I leveled to the fence on top, that got cropped out.

Thank you very much!

The Cathay stands the best chance out of the 3.
The Qantas looks blurry.
The LAN is rather soft and shows too much noise.

Looks fine to me, just try to make a slightly tighter crop.

Cheers.

I feel this one's a little funky but not sure what the real deal is...please tell me whether or not the heat distortion is killing it

Thanks

The heat kills it, as well as the noise and oversharpening kill it.
@ Jan, we dont accept B+W photos of non vintage a/c.

Thanks for clarifying, I haven't uploaded here in a while so wasn't sure.

Sorry for the AP.NET links but I don't have this photo on my flickr and cannot upload it at the moment. Would this be motive as well because the aircraft is not centered?

Are those two pictures a reason for a "bad motive" rejection?
Thanks in advance
Julian

Odd one here, not sure if I should even try editing this one or if it would get rejected as dark even though that is kind of the motive.

@Julian: the SAS is OK, I would add some more contrast though. The crop on the 2nd tail is too tight IMO.

@Kyle: It is a bit too dark. You can tweak the shadows to make the plane better visible and still have the sunset feelting. Also: it is too soft.

Hi
Is this one acceptable? It shows the remnants of a botched landing about 3 weeks ago.

Thanks

How about this one? I know it's slightly backlit (sun was pretty much straight forward from the airplane) but I thought that perhaps uploading it as a Spotting Location?

Also, this image has not been edited for size or edge ratios!

Thanks
