Default KMIA landing sequences

Morning, just a quick question/general wondering.

Is there a particular reason MIA has had the sequences in which landings out of the east/departures( Runways 12,26,27) to the west quite often recently?

Or is it just the weather conditions?

I would say it's just weather conditions. Most of last week the winds were out the west, not really unusual, but more persistent and stronger than normal.

Yes, we have had the winds coming from the W-SW the last week or so. We've been swinging back east in the early afternoon a few of those days.
