Default LET 410 crash Ukraine

FIVE PEOPLE HAVE died and 13 were injured after a small plane carrying a number of parachutists made a difficult emergency landing in Ukraine.
The craft, a turboprop L-410 belonging to a pilot school, had to make the emergency landing because of poor weather conditions in the Kiev region, the Emergency Services Ministry said in a statement.
The accident happened at the Borodyanka airport about 30kms west of the capital as heavy rains and winds battered the area.
On board were 16 jumpers and two crew members. It is understood that one of the passengers was an Austrian national. The injured have all been taken to a local hospital.
Police in Kiev are now investigating the incident
