Don't understand this rejection.

Can anyone explain to me why this picture has been rejected for underexposed/dark?

Hi,

The problem with this shot is that how you edited here she isn't dark but the orginal was due to the bright sky behind her. Probaly she was standing in the shade of a building or there were darker clouds behind you?
Now she lacks contrast but if you adjust that the top of the fuselage will fall away in the blown out sky.

I've done a re-edit but still she was taken in very hard light conditions.

My first attempt gives about the same result on what made out if it although I made a little brighter. That one was rejected also being to dark.

The plane is (was) not in a shadow of any building, but the weather was dull. I myself was standing in a shadow of a building, which may have been of influence.

I think it will be one of my own collection though?

Sorry for the late reply.... But you are right. Guess she is one for the personal collection.
Catch her next time in some beter weather
