Default AA 757 off runway excursion at JACKSON, Wyo

AA 757 off runway excursion at JACKSON, Wyo

CNN and other news outlets are reporting that an AA Boeing 757 passenger jet went off the runway while landing at Jackson, Wyoming.

Everyone is OK, it seems, which is great news.

Following link has more information and photos of the actual jet with her wheels stuck in the snow.

Apparently weather conditions were not the best at time of landing.

In icy conditions, do they apply sand and ice melt to runways? Or do the planes rely more on reverse thrust?

There were some good comment posted on that video. It was hard to tell from that limited view.

Did it look like the passenger edited that? You could never see anything but the view between those two black "walls". I had never seen that before.
