Great Post---It's always good to read a trip report from the other side of the cockpit door once in a while!

Isn't it spelled squawk? Always known it as that.

      Good report!

Yeah, great job. Lots of info. I always seem to forget a lot of the details.

Gotta tell you I'm jealous about having the FMS programmed before taxi. I'm always doing that while heading to the runway. The inverters chew up too much battery to sit there and run them with no gen. online, and we have no APU. Getting your clearance on the ACARS is pretty sweet too.

BTW, I'm sure you get into HSV from time to time. If you're interested, I'll send you my cell #. If you have a good overnight here and want to go grab a Bud, let me know. If my Comair buddy is in town at the time, we'll have a nice little BS session.

ethanman234- You do know your avitar is a 737 and not an A320, right? If you look really close, you see a big 737 wedgetail.

Thank for making every technical term understandable.Enjoyed to try being
either actually on your Captain's seat or
one of guys allowed by the FAA to jumpseat between you two. Keep them coming. Thanks again.
