  • Hong Kong and Beijing roof information for master thesis

    Hello everyone,

I guess this is the right section of the forum for this question.

I'm working on a master thesis in school, and are looking into the roof construction of Airports like Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok and Beijing Capital Airport T3, with their big spanning roofs, able to shift and move for better performance in high winds or earthquakes.

I have done some research in this so far, but was wondering if someone here would happen to know where I could get more insight in the construction of this? Maybe someone who is responsible for these areas on these airports or any in the designing of the terminals?

If someone here would know where I should turn and could get some more information about these structures, I would very much appreciate this.

Also, if someone knows of any other airports around the world with a similar type of roof construction, please post this bellow.

Thanks for any help in forehand.
    Alexander
