I have never seen a reason for a merger, neither from the passengers perspective nor seen from the pilots perspective.
All the evil, and that's why I am here, has begun with the disappearance of LTU, in Germany a quite famous airline which has been founded here on my home airport.
Not very much later, all the NW 747s disappeared from the sky, in their very brilliant "NW bronze" livery.
I hate mergers. So, sorry, you should ask somebody else.
[Here on this platform, I have compared the current UA livery with the UA-B744 livery of 1996 (before the merger). The result is the same. If merger is a reason for a new livery, then, sorry, I can't remember a good example. It always seems to have been invented in a hurry.]
Is there a need to delete the TAM livery? Why?The German long haul is alive, 65 years and still kicking.
The Gold Member in the 747 club, 50 years since the first LH 747.
And constantly advanced, 744 and 748 /w upper and lower EICAS.
This is Lohausen International airport speaking, echo delta delta lima.
