  • Canon EF-S 55-250mm 1:4-5.6 IS, will it work on Canon 60D?

    Hi!

My Canon EOS 600D has been a bit buggy, so I've been thinking of getting a 60D, body only. My question is, can my kit lenses originally for the 600D (EFS 18-55mm and CANON ZOOM LENS EF-S 55-250mm 1:4-5.6 IS) work perfectly on a 60D? I did some searching on the internet without getting the answer. So I came for help here. I would hate to get a body only camera and find out the lenses don't work!

    And what about a 70D?

It should work fine. I also have a 60D and just kept my 55-250 from my previous camera and it works fine.

I also had the 600D and upgraded to the 60D and I use both of those lenses without any problems. I still use my Canon 55-250 when it is sunny when I need to get pictures of A380`s, instead of using my other lenses.
