  • Got A Warning for Digital manipulation

    Hello everyone,
I got this Huge Warning From a screener that got me in shock,
''Screeners Comments Please Do not upload images that have been manipulated in such manner, the sky on the upper right corner has been adjusted in an unacceptable manner,
Repeating this in the future could result in an upload ban !

then im like hold on a moment this is all wrong info... i opened the original picture (unedited) and noticed that it has a contrail line on the top right corner <<< this does not mean i manipulated anything with editing

the link to the rejected photo is http://www.jetphotos.net/viewreject_b.php?id=5118211

im more than happy to upload the full original picture on here but before i do i need permission from the admins , this will only prove the screener wrong ! and its offending what he said before making 100% sure,
    Regards
    Wael.

The easiest is to upload the original photo somewhere and to post a link. If it is a raw file, even better.

I find Tinypic.com to be the most user friendly image storage/linking service for our needs.
We have no problem at all being proven wrong. Everyone makes mistakes.
If it 'ain't broken........ Don't try to mend it !

Thank You for the getting back to me on this one i have uploaded the original picture and also a few other examples that the top right corner line is indeed a contrail line

Here's the original Picture Link http://tinypic.com/r/sb6afn/9

and here is the other example links http://tinypic.com/r/sb6afn/9

        and also http://tinypic.com/r/2aif23s/9

Please advice me on where the exact problem is so i could get an idea in the future not to do the same mistake if there is any in which i doubt,
        Regards
        Wael.

Unfortunately I have no access from my office PC. Will have a look tomorrow.

However, the photo has also been rejected for another reason. So, even, if it turns out to be a contrail, the JPG compression still remains a rejection reason. This means, you can re-edit it to get less compression artefacts and upload again.

Thank you for looking into to this, my main concern is the warning and not the actual rejection,
as i really got told off with huge warning, and im worried this would effect me for the future, im pretty sure i did nothing wrong this is why i want to get this sorted out
            Regards
            Wael.

I don't think a simple warning is much to worry about. Only if you repeatedly knowingly break the rules would it ever become an issue that might result in further action.
