Now this IS intriguing. The producer of a documentary about to 'premier' on a premium pay-to-view cable network, offers "solid proof that there was an external detonation". Not they he or anyone else involved with this production has any profit motive in mind. Oh, no sir, this is pure altruism. They just want to get at the TRUTH!

You, know, I rarely want to break noses, but around this kind of parasitic opportunism from the tragedy of others, it starts to have an appeal...

It's as simple as this, and I will repeat it: 233 of the 256 eyewitnesses reporting a streak of light in the sky testified that it was NOT ascending in a more or less vertical trajectory. So what is that? A MANPAD? Certainly not. An air-to-air missile? Sorry, nothing on the radar. Burning fuel from a ruptured fuel tank. No that's just crazy talk.........

I repeat, that I have seen the tank from inside. We were not allowed to take photographs so I have no proof other than my word. This is a complete contradiction to what I observed. Find me pictures that show the tank in the condition stated in the above report.

I guess that when you say that you have seen the CWT from inside, you mean the reconstruction of it since it was shattered in hundreds of pieces.

You didn't have the tank in one piece showing the deformation described. You have to analyze the direction of bending and fracture of the hundreds of pieces from the CWT from inside.

Here you have 400+ photos of said fragments:

        This:

        And this:

Here you have the full docket, with thousands and thousands of pages of investigation, analysis, factual information, test results...:

Or here you have the summary where all that information is presented in a more friendly way. If you question any part of this accident investigation report, you can always revert to the evidence in the docket to check it by yourself:

And here you have the appendices. You might be interested in the F and G:

I give up. All of you "experts" believe what you want. Sure don't have to worry about any of it when you are sitting in your den flying your neat M/S flight sim! Or reading your 35 years worth of flying magazines.

So you want us to respect you for your knowledge of aviation, but you're not willing to respect people who are specialists at determining the cause of failures in aircraft? That seems a little disingenuous.

I read somewhere that in a well-hidden conspiracy, manufacturers of tin foil have engineered its molecular makeup to alter the brain waves of anyone who goes near it.

Oh, I don't doubt that there may have been an ex-Sleddriver kayaker telling the authorities all of that. It's just that I think it bears remembering that this was during the Branch Davidian/Tim McVey/Janet Reno era. Back then there was all kinds of black ops stuff being sworn to.

                  Much like now, I suppose...

They will, BB, with or without you and with or without me. Told ya nobody's here for the truth, whatever it may be. This is free entertainment, and it's not even that bad (good chuckles to be had). Don't take this forum so seriously.

Because you are an expert in what? Airplane structures? Metallurgical science? materials science? Fracture Mechanics? Explosives? Forensic science?

Oh, yes, I forgot. You have a gazillion hours driving a 747.

You sound like the chemtrail people on youtube

I've known several airline pilots who are also convinced TWA 800 was downed by a missile...it's pretty common, at least you're not alone.

Like I have said before, you read and dream, and I do. There is an old saying: Those that can do. Those that can't teach. Those that can't teach go into management.

And it's only 11000 in 74's, a little shy of a gazillion, is that a real number?

Chemtrails I don't believe in. The wreckage of TWA 800 I have spent a couple of hours walking around and in.

Oh, how stupid I am. Of course, how could I miss this logical reasoning:
Government not always tell the truth.
ERGO: TWA 800 was downed by a missile.

That is an absolutely valid syllogism, no?

You asked for photos of the CWT. I provided more than 400.

Of course, your evidence surely is stronger and more credible than NTSB's. Show it. Or STFU.
