Emergency services did not find any trace of fire, heat or smoke.

    The smoke indication was identified to be the result of exhaust gasses and manure produced by the sheep.

    The flight crew must be feeling sheepish now.. That is a lot of sheep to cram into a plane though.

          ......either that or it was a result of Baaaaaaa,d sensors !
