  • Removing window glare with dust removal tool(Is it manipulation?)

    Hi everyone!

I just had a photo rejected due to a small "speck" of window glare. I was wondering if removing a small amount of window glare/reflection with the dust removal tools in photoshop was allowed? Or will it be considered "Digital Manipulation"?

    Thanks for help

Well, if its a small speck then I would say yes, remove it. I have done that in the past. Just make sure that you don't leave any residual marks of the cloning.

Large areas of glare are a different matter. It's virtually impossible to remove them successfully.

On a different subject... I just screened a comment you made on a picture. Once is fine.....but four or five exactly the same on the same image is a bit over the top so they got rejected !
If it 'ain't broken........ Don't try to mend it !

And sorry for the photo comment thing, I clicked the add comment button and after a long time no response, I thought my browser got stuck again so I hit it many times then gave up, I didn't know the comments went through!!
