    Is this better?
Editing halos still present, and Air Inuit also has a dust spot.

Is there a way to fix those halos? Also, where is the dust spot on the Air Inuit one? Thank you so much in advance for your help, and sorry for all the hassle; I really want to optimise my chances of getting a picture up here

If you shot RAW, they should be easy to remove by reprocessing without whichever effect (shadow/highlight, clarity, etc..) you used to introduce them. If you shot jpeg only, then you should hope you introduced them via some post-processing like I mentioned, otherwise it means they were introduced by the camera itself (the D-lighting on your D90 the likely culprit), in which case there is no way to remove them.

At least 1-2 spots next to the tail, the biggest at the bottom left side where it joins the fuselage.

          • I'm not sure if that one will be rejected due to the frame. Unfortunately another angle/size isn't possible due to my lens and it was taken quite fast. The photos was only edited in cutting and leveling no sharpening. I think it could have a high chance of being rejected due to "too high in frame" and I do not want to extend the queue.
            Thanks for help.

              • Hi,

I have a photo where the aircraft has a new paint scheme. I uploaded it as hot and it got rejected for overexposure:

JetPhotos.com is the biggest database of aviation photographs with over 5 million screened photos online!

I have edited it and this is it now:

Is it still overexposed? There is still strong clipping on the right side of the histogram but I don't know if it is the sky or the aircraft?

                Thanks

                  Don't see any major issues.

Pretty, but the framing doesn't really work for here, as there's nothing really to justify the portrait orientation.

Color, noise, and dust spots would be issues. I'd also suggest submitting at a smaller size than 1920.

Sky and parts of the aircraft still blown out.

                          That will be difficult.
                          a) the difference between the all white fuselage and the bright, light grey background is minimal
                          b) the shadows are harsh

Generally speaking white aircraft with light grey background are more a reason to get a beer, than to try to get photos uploaded to JPnet .

First one has issues with horizon and centering; second two also centering, along with contrast and overprocessing (second one especially).

Color & contrast might need a little adjustment, but other than that quality is ok. Only one of the second two would be acceptable, as they are similar.

                                Not enough sharpness I suppose?
