Some of those auctions have aircraft that have some of their instruments or other parts taken out(probably was a former aircraft used for smuggling drugs or other illegal goods/acts). Not all of the auctions are for partial aircraft, some are still airworthy. I checked some of the other auctions out of curiousity.
I hope the DC-9 gets a new home or ends up in a museum like a similar one that is at Dover AFB.
