I hope this isn't too far off. This is a good read about an Air Force bomber being flown under the Mackinac Bridge.

I had the opportunity to meet John Lappo while in Anchorage in 1995. He was a very good friend of my wife's grandfather who introduced him to me. Glad I got to meet John before he passed.
