I'm lucky in that my wife bought me a D7000 body........and then she bought me a second one ! I cannot remember the last time I changed a lens.....

.....but I still get the occasional dust spot !

Depending on which lens you use I would recommend using aperture priority, ISO 100 and centre weighted metering. Most lenses in the 200mm to 300mm range work best at around f9 as a "sweet spot"....
