This is a very important order for Airbus considering that BA is a big B777 operator and the model ordered is the A350-1000.

Maybe more airlines will look at this model more closely.

It's interesting to note that SQ has owned 49% of VS for more than 10 years and VS never joined *A. Now, when DL buys the same 49% VS will most probably join SkyTeam as soon as possible.

Since UA's B752 have winglets they probably can fly this route.

Besides, UA flies...

Although, Star Alliance seems the most obvious choice for VS, I'll believe VS is in an alliance when I see it.
