Philippine Airlines (PR, Manila) has completed the retirement of its B747-400 fleet with the aircraft's last revenue flight from San Francisco to Manila on Saturday, August 30. Of the two remaining operational airframes, RP-C7473 (msn 2782 was ferried from Clark to Marana via San Francisco, CA on August 28. The Filipino national carrier has replaced its B747-400s with its A340-300s and B777-300(ER)s.
