  • Spotting at TFN/TFS?

    Hi!

I'm heading down to Tenerife on Dec 21st and I was planning to do some spotting/photography at TFN and/or TFS.

Any information about best places to do photography would be greatly appreciated.

Also, If I have to choose between TFN and TFS, which would be better?

I have a guide I wrote about spotting at TFN and TFS. Send me an email to [email protected] I will send it to you.

Let me know Philip when you plan to come over, we have special treatment with JP Crewmembers which Soren knows about.

Anyhow, anybody who plans to come to TFN/TFS, let me know, I might hook up with them and show them in person the different spotting sites.

      Cheers,

      Gabe

Would be cool Gabe, but as mentioned the trip is only in my mind so far.
While browsing through the photo databases I found some really great shots of Iberia heavies taken at TFN, looks like a fine place for spotting.

        I'll keep you updated
        greetings,
        Philip

That is why I planed on going to LPA again this year, as I found a very nice restaurant there. Excellent mojo and papas arrugadas. Great Gofio and other stuff. But now I might switch to TF again.

And now it even offers a comparable hotel. And as my girlfirend pointed out it has the La Villa shopping center, which she likes better then the Centro Commercial Atlantico in Gran Canaria.

                      Hard choice ..

I think before I make a decision I must know when this water pistol fiesta is on Tenerife. If I can make the date, then IŽll go to TF.

Sorry for digging up an old thread....

I am planning to go to Tenerife for a week of vacation in January 2014. Can anybody recommend a spotting guide. There doesn't seem to be an up to date one (at least Google couldn't find it ).

@Gabe: Is your spooting guide up to date? an you help me out, please?

                        Many thanks in advance!

                          Good for TFS: http://www.cispotting.net/cms/?cat=24

TFN has only one good spot for the afternoon anyway: Pasaje el Desvío, 2 28.47626,-16.32832

                            Here's some maps for you....

You need a car definitely for TFS and it's useful for TFN. I never got to the western end of TFN.

A SatNav is very useful. Maybe borrow a European Countries Tom Tom from someone if you don't have one. Also Google Earth on a laptop or an iPad is very useful but you will need WiFi connection for live navigation, hence my Tom Tom recommendation.
If it 'ain't broken........ Don't try to mend it !

The point at TFN has closed. The new point is by the buildings left of the upper 2 text fields.
