Chaoui Airlines

Hello everbody. Here's my trip report from JFK to EZE via GRU. I arrived at terminal 4 of JFK one hour and a half before the flight left. We arrived late beacause of the traffic at NYC a saturday. When I finished the check-in, it was 18:30 and the plane was scheduled to leave at 19hs05. But, the airline, extended the time of boarding and I had time enough to say good bye to my fahter and get into the plane. I had to leave my baggages in a place where the security officers check it in a special X-ray machine. Then, I went into the security system of JFK before getting into the plane. I just put my backpack and my jacket into the X-ray machine and I passed thorough the metal detector. And that was all (I thought it would be more complicated). Then I walked a few in the terminal before arriving at the gate. I saw an airline that I have never seen before, Biman (the plane was an DC-10) or something like. Then I saw an Virgin Atlantic A340, PIA 744, and I arrived to the gate B25 when the borading was taking place. I went at the end of the queue and I waited a few. An attendant that was at the entrance said "Passenger from seats 20 to 38 (I had seat 30 A) and person with disabilities boarding first". I had luck, I didn't have to do all the queue. The plane was a B767-300 (PP-VPW). The flight number was RG8865. Once I entered, I sat and at our left there was an MD11 of Swiss. After all the passengers entered, the plane began the pushback. We took 20 minutes to arrive at the runway 31L. The departure time was set by 19hs05 and the plane took off at 19:50. Once at the air, I could see Manhattan for the last time, I hope to come back in some months. We arrived at our flight level and the service began. For the dinner, we had to choose between Chicken or Pasta. I choose pasta and the pasta was Lasagna. For the entrance, I ate a tuna salad, and for the dessert, something like cake. I drinked Guarana (for those who don't know, Guarana is a Brazilian Soda) Then, I read and the free shop chariots passed. I asked them for the little planes of Varig and they didn't have it. They told me that in the traject to BS AS they'll have it. Then I asked if I could visit the cockpit. They told me that the cockpit was full of crew members (6 at least) and that I have to come back at the morning. When she told me that I thought that it would be impossible to go so I went to sleep and I slept very well. The only problem was that I only slept 5 hours because the flight JFK-GRU is relatively short (only 9 hours)and it was time of breakfast. For breakfast, I ate a cheese sandwich with yogurt, frtuis and bread. I drinked Coffee and Guarana(I love Guarana). Once at Sao Paulo, I didn't have time to go to the free shop because my next flight began to board when we were taxing to the gate. So I had to rush to get into the plane. I was one of the last to board flight RG8640 (operted by an MD11 PP-VQR). My seat was 17A. The plane was almost empty. We took off 15 minutes late. The flight was very good. For breakfast (it was my second breakfast in the day, that's what I love to fly with stop-over) I had omellette with potatoes, fruits, ham and cheese. I drinked Guarana. During the flight I tried to get into the cockpit and they told me that in when the plane is in the air is forbbidden to go into the cockpit because of 9/11. Then, I asked for the free shop and they told me that in that flight they didn't have free shop service. So I couldn't buy the little planes of Varig that I wanted too much. I decided to seat down and look throught the window while listening the Brazilian music. I think that the B767 is louder than the MD11. We landed ten minutes late at EZE (the time of the flight was two hours and a half). We were estimated to arrive at 10:25 a.m. and we landed at 10:35 a.m.. Not so bad for being Varig. Landings of both flights weren't smooth. At EZE, the migrations tramitations took me 15/20 minutes. Then I went home. I loved too much this flight because for me, Varig is my favourite airline and, instead of all the bad things that they have, I love it too much and I enjoy too mucho flying it.
I hope you liked the report. Sorry about the grammar mistakes. Cheers.
