I don't know if you count GA flying in this section, but I figured I'd post a story or two of my flying days when I get enough time. This past weekend I went out to the airport (KGED) for breakfast and noticed a bunch of Vans RVs (hombuilts) sitting out on the ramp and figured a friend of mine was holding a fly-in for the "Van's Airforce" which is a group of RV owners/builders. After breakfast I walked over and asked my buddy (Ralph) if I could bum a ride off of him and he said sure. I love this type of flying, I'm used to looking at the top of a cloud deck in the airplanes I normally fly so being upside down at 1,500 feet was great :lol: We went out and did three rolls then he let me fly and do a couple steep turns had some fun in it then went back to GED and landed. Had a hell of time and hope to fly with him more often, might even get one for myself one day....
