Hey. I decided to write about a flight I took on July 30th 2001.

I was still in belgium at the time and I was flying home to the DC area to visit family and friends.. UAL was (sadly :x ) fully booked for the entire summer so we flew Sabena.. We used to fly Sabena in the early 90's so we figured it couldn't be THAT bad.. OH.. but it was..

We left 20 minutes late because the ground crew decied to mis load the cargo.. WHen we finally taxied out to 25R for dept. we were number 9 for take off.. 5 were holding on runway 02/20 and 3 to the taxiway right of us and 1 at the hold short lines.. 10 minutes later we finally took off. But for SOME ODD reason each time we moved there was this very odd clanking noise.. sort of like a mislatched cargo LCD.. Then some water or condensation started to drip down the side of my seat.. that turned out to be from the idiotic pax infront of me who put an opened bottle of water in the over heads!
This plane had no PTV's so I was stuck watching Heart Breakers with my head inbetween two seats.. but it was worth it for the hottie Jenn.love hewitt  !! Over greenland we were at FL390 and I saw a little bit of Greenland.. was very beautiful.. THen they put on the worst movie EVER! Anti-trust. that stupid Bill gates hacking movie or whatever.. I decided to listen to my music for hte next 3 hours..
3 hours later we arrived at the Canadian/US border and we had 2 hours to go.. major H/Winds.. After that horrible movie finished I notice I saw some one familiar.. It was one of the people who rung up my purchases at the local food store!!! I was kind of freaked by that...
Landing was on 01L and it was a hard one and fast.. The pilot flared the 333 early and to much..caused a bobing affect and used major brakes.. that clanking noise continued..

the return..

I thought to my self.. the flight over sucked this can't be ANYWORSE! That last walk was a cake walk... LITERALLY..

For starters I had to leave my friends and family who I missed alot. but the plus.. we were at a remote stand so we got to take thos cool white mobile lounges.. (I won't forget the 1000's of times I've been on those and just toured the airport at 40mph! hehe) So we got on after the FA figured out how to unlock the door.. I rushed to my seat cuz this person standing next to me reaked horribly!. I noticed next to me was a Swiss 332. I caught a pic of her and this FA came to me and said
"non! It is not nice to take non Sabena pictures.." I of course said. I'm sorry.. (reality is.. I took about 10 more pics..)
my parents and I were located in the first row of Economy in the middle section(was nice!) we had plenty of leg room and PTV's.. The couple on teh right side of the plane had a new born and that baby wouldn't stop crying.. I didn't take account the fact the baby was crying.. Its human nature.. Not Sabenas fault..

when the FA said we will be starting our IFE I was like "thank you!" because the movies were really good! Some one had taken my TV!! I had no PTV to look at!! So I was really mad and the FA said.. We can give you one.. I got the same FA's attention 5x more and she said she'll look for one.. I never got one..!

The sun set was beautiful.. It was all orange with pink/purple clouds.. I was listening to Eve 6-here's to the night.. Gave me goosebumps

Dinner came and it was stale and really crunchy..so I ate it quickly and decided to recline.. I first fooled around with the cool electronic back lumbar supports.. WHAT A BAD IDEA!! they broke so my lower back was forced foward and my upper back was forced even more foward.. so I forced my seat back even further.. Moments later I was brought back up.. I said to my self.. I'm gonna kill that guy.. Turned out he was 6feet 7! so I said.. PLEASE TAKE MY SEAT! I got a tv, I had a comphy remaining 2 hours..

Upon arrival we were stuck behind customs for 4 hours because the Sabena ground crew(they do all the GND crew work) went on strike over some odd reason.. Well that is my experience on Sabena..

One month later I flew Sabena from BRU-Vienna for a weekend Volleyball sport meet(typical with European Intl schools to play other intl schools.).. we were stuck for 6h at EBBR b/c sabena stiked again.. on our return we had to fly via EHAM(WAS AWESOME!). we were stuck at LOWW for 6 hours also but for boaring and de-planing we were walking on the ground.. was awesome.. Except a stupid teammate had a tennis ball in his hand and it rolled towards the FD but the door THANKFULLY closd before it entered...

Upon landing the pilot said "thank you for flying with KLM City Hopper......." That same tennis ball teammate said "YOU'RE SOO COOL MR.PILOT!!"
CPT: " yes I like to think I am very cool..."
Hope you have enjoyed my Sabena flight review.. sorry for no pics.. they all were blurry.. :(

Worst flight was from Pakistan to USA. The flight from USA to Pakistan was the best flight. Anyways, the flight plan was, Lahore-ISB(737)-MAN-JFK(747). The flight from Lahore to ISB was alright, got to see a lot of cool stuff. It was a short hop, about 45 minutes. Then we went to a hotel(at ISB). We stayed at the hotel for about 12 hours. It was all paid by PIA. Our flight was at 4 in the morning. My cousin dropped me off at ISB and there was a long line even to get into the airport. In Pakistan 10 people come to say bye to just 1 person. After fighting my way through the people to get in. I went through the screening and everything without any problems. When i got to the ticketing counter, there came the problem. I thought i had my seat pre-located, by my dads friend who works for PIA. He said to me that he got me a Bulk-head Upper Deck window seat. So i just gave the lady at the counter my name and i didn't pay any attention to my seat number. Then i waited for about an hour to board my flight. When they looked at my boarding pass they directed me to a seat on the lower deck. But i said that my seat is supposed to be on the upper deck. I tried and tried to explian to them that my seat was on the upper deck. But when i looked at my pass it had a seat number of a lower deck seat. Then i just sat in the crappy seat. The seat had no window!!!! I just reclined my seat and looked out the the window of the young lady who was sitting behind me. I feel pretty bad for the young lady because i had my seat reclined the whole flight. That was my worst flight ever. If anyone has a question about anything please PM me.

When: August 2003

Airline/Aircraft: Gulf Air A340

From: Bahrain
To: LHR, London

The whole damn flight, the front person reclined his freaking seat ruthlessly so thru out the flight, my knees really hurted. The freaking teenager sitting next to me slept like a baby snorring the whole way into my ears and boy, did he have a bad breath!!!

The aircraft was damn cold.

My worst flight was Virgin Atlantic service from NRT to LHR, back in 99. The flight was delayed, some old-looking A340 arrived and the cabin smelled bad. I was seated on a window seat, and the people in front decided to recline fully throughout the flight hurting me.

:skeptic: Quite a few of my flights can be termed as bad, determining which one could be the award winning looks as pretty difficult .
