View Full Version : Finally!!! Emirates Coming To JFK! (And O'Hare Too!)

Emirates have announced that they will begin service to the United States pending approval to both JFK and Chicago's O'Hare. Both would start June 1, 2003 with their new Airbus A340-500's.

New York JFK
Proposed schedules for summer season :
DXB 0800-1350 JFK 2350-2025 DXB (Daily ex Sun)
DXB 0200-0750 JFK 1030-0705 DXB (Ops on Sun)
Proposed schedules for winter season :
DXB 0800-1300 JFK 2350-2110 DXB (Daily)
Flights would be operated with an Airbus A340-500.

Chicago O'Hare
Proposed schedules for summer season :
DXB 0200-0710 ORD 1605-1430 DXB (Daily ex Sat/Sun)
DXB 0200-0710 ORD 0910-0735 DXB (Ops on Sat/Sun)
Proposed schedules for winter season :
DXB 0200-0625 ORD 1605-1510 DXB (Daily ex Sat/Sun)
DXB 0200-0625 ORD 0910-0820 DXB (Ops on Sat/Sun)
Flights would be operated with an Airbus A340-500.

Excellent choice! DXB is a great place and many, many connections are available at ORD! (JFK, too!)

Good news for JFK and ORD. It seems likely that Emirates will go double daily to Manchester also some time, so Emirates are looking good just now. I wouldnt be surprised if EK started service to IAH or LAX sometime in the near future also. clap.gif images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
