hi all

im quite new on Flight Sim, on FS2002 and learning the basics right now. I'm now flying around from A to B nicely and smoothly, although there's one question still floating around:

IAS/MACH on Auto Pilot secction; What is this and how do I use it? I assumed it was some airspeed thing control so I tried it but it didnt stay lit up and didn't work...

If anyone can help me out I'd be grateful, as Im having a great fun flying around. If only my computer could handle better graphics I would be flying on Fs2004 but never mind.

Thanks for your time.

The IAS function maintains the desired airspeed (in knots), and the MACH function maintains the desired mach #.

Before you activate these functions, however, you have to arm the autothrottle (AT).

Hope this helps. :)
