View Full Version : Thai Airways' Board Approves Buying 2 Boeing Aircraft

BANGKOK -(Dow Jones)- Thai Airways International PCL said Monday its board has approved buying two long-range aircraft from Boeing Co.
According to the company's statement, both aircraft will be Boeing B747-400s. The purchase is part of the national carrier's acquisition plan previously approved by the Cabinet.

Good impulse for Boeing, though. The 747-400 is running towards the end of production. I think it's time for Boeing to get a new aircraft on the market, and I'm not only talking about the Sonic Cruiser.
