Two problems with the photo.
Tons of grain and part of the tail is cut off. First part I fixed second I couldn't. Nice colorscheme and good idea. Try this one and see if you have better luck. But still there is way to much grain. What ISO setting were you shooting at?

How were you able to remove the grain? What software?

Nice work reducing the grain. But the picture is still below the standards. There is a limit in each picture. "mikecweb" showed the limits of this pic in question.

Forget that one! Go to the next! There are always new chances waiting to be explored.

I used a combo of neat image and photoshop.
I would put this in the personal collection and try again.
If you could give your camera and settings when you took the picture we could probably find what you were doing wrong.
