HI again everyone. On this flight we had to wake up at 3:00 to catch our 7:30 flight back home.:clap:We went to bed the night before at 10:30.We checked out of the hotel, drove to see if any denny's were open,(of course there wasn't)then we drove the 20 minute drive from Castle Rock to Denver. We droped off our car,and we took the bus to US Airways check-in.We checked in and went trough security in 15 minutes. We got to our gate at 4:30 and sat down for a minute. There was another plane at our jetway and our plane was on the hardstand. My dad and I looked around. There was a US Airways 737-300 going to Pheonix,a few AA mad dogs going to DFW,AA 757 going to DFW,Eagle 145 going to DFW,a Frontier A318 going to,if I remember right, going to ORD,An Alaska 737-800 just came as a redeye from PANC,a United 767 redeye from Honolulo, and a Conienintel 737-900 going to Newark. The flight at our gate pushed back, and our flight came to the gate. Our flight got preped, and we were called for boarding at 6:30.We were the first ones on the plane because my grandmom is disapled!:nod:Everyone else got on,and a few shuttle by United planes went by.We pushed back at 7:20,and gear up at 7:25.Man,right after take-off we had the climb rate of an A340!We finally started to climb at a resonable v/s rate, and leveled off at FL390.Since no one in my family had breakfest,we ordered a breakfest sandwhich for 7$.It was really good with:ham, lettice, tamato, chederr cheese, and some very good bread which I forget what it is.They also served it with grapes and yogurt, which was a nice touch.I don't know what the movie is because right after I finished eating I fell asleep.:sleep:When I woke up we were 20 minutes out of Harrisburg. My dad and I switched seats, and I got the window!!I could see alot of things when we started to desend like I-95 and stuff like that.About 10 minutes out of PHL,I saw my house!every morning planes flying the Runway 8 and Runways 26 and 27R landings. We had a great view of Philly, even the Boeing Plant. The pilot made a smooth touchdown on 27R.On rollout,we saw the MCCAIN PALIN 737(they suck!)We arrived at the gate at 11:57,13 minutes early.Overall the flight was very nice, food was great,F/A's came around often if they could do anything for them, and we arrived early.Overall:9/10.Any questions or comments are welcome.Hope you liked my trip report!Pics should be here on sunday.

Excellent trip report. Can't wait for the pictures.:) It's nice to see that at least US has a decent buy-on-board menu, unlike some carriers (hint AA). Just a quick question: did you buy any beverages on-board or did you bring your own?

Right after take-off we had the climb rate of an A340!We finally started to climb at a resonable v/s rate, and leveled off at FL390

You would be surprised what the thin Rocky Mountain air can do the climb rates of aircraft. I have seen Boeing 747s struggle to make the initial climb at DEN. Never seen the 757 have any problems though. It still climbs like a rocket.

Keep up the good work!

Rohan
