Hi,

For two days I am searching for the registration of below helicopter:

http://www.jetphotos.net/viewqueued_b.php?id=2176061

So far I could only find 162505 and EN-05 but is this data correct and if so, which one is the registration and which one is the CN?

Millitary registrations and CN info is so hard to find in my experience.

Any help is very much appreciated.

EN-05 is the c/n and 162505 is the reg.

162505 is the US Navy / Marine Corps BuNo (Bureau Number) essentially the same as an USAF Serial # IE: 01-4011

The EN-05 stands for EN is the unit number tail code HMH-464 based at MCAS New River NC the 05 is the last 2 digits of the BuNo. The HMH-464 is also know as the "Condors"

The C/N should be 65-511

A search on scramble.nl shows 162505 as being destroyed in mid-February 2005.

Searching the codes EN and 05 shows Rogers' aircraft to be.....

Reg'n 161534
Code EN-05
Type CH-53E of HMH-464
Active Oct08, ex YM-22/HMH-365

Scramble does not give a c/n.

A search on scramble.nl shows 162505 as being destroyed in mid-February 2005.

If that is the case i wonder where Rodger got the BuNo from??? Looking at the image i cannot get a clear view of BuNo.

Also i tend to take Scrambles database with a grain of salt as there are several incorrect entries

Rodger can you post a photo of the BuNo that you got off of this Helo??

162505 (HC-4) and 163053 both noted in damaged state at Sigonella Apr 2005.
Two incidents involving damage are known (Aug 10, 2004
and Feb 16, 2005, but not which aircraft featured in which incident. 162505
was w/o Jul 11, 1994 according to John Andrade

The rego you have on it, 161534, would seem accurate but I can't find a CN for you.
