After a long while of abscense I decided (and had time) to upload another trip. This trip contains the following flight (between arrows)

Background:
For my 18th birthday I wanted to make a special trip with alot of new aircraft types. Eventually after a month planning (dates, flights,…) I finally put this trip together.

Pre-departure:
After a week in the West Palm beach area it was time to move on. I woke up at about 7 for a 9am departure to Miami, traffic wasn’t that bad on I-95 southbound. At about 1015 We reached the Miami Intl Airport wich was quite crowded. Here some pics of the Palm Beach area.

@ the Airport
When I walked into concourse D it was quite crowded. Alot of flights to Latin America and trough the USA. Approx 1045 I went trough security after using the machines. And at 11 I was trough security. As like JFK in part II the most traffic consisted of American Airlines. With an exeption of an Icelandair Boeing 757 at the F-concourse. Any Idea what it was doing sitting there? At 1130 I went to by my lunch wich consisted of a garden salad. Then I waited until the boarding was called at 11h55 and then the unthinkable happened. Feeling everything in my pocket there were 2 Items missing named my passport and boarding pass. I quickly issued a new boarding pass so I at least could get to Jacksonville because I had a flight tomorrowmorning on to Atlanta. I told the GA my problem but only got the response. Nothing I can do I’m sorry. So I boarded at 1215 at gate D35C.

Once we arrived at our aircraft I immediatly informed the crew about the situation. They did radio the tower and gave me a lost and found number. With a small delay we left our stand at 12h35. And were airborne in less than 10 minutes. Shortly thereafter we reached our cruising altitude.

Shortly into the flight a we got a drink service. I continued my salad. As on al RJ’s there was no entertainment. However I did had a very nice chat with my seatmate. A woman I suposse in the 40’s who travelled alot. We had a very nice talk. Also flying over the Everglades made nice views. Before I knew we were already on descent into Jacksonville

We landed in Jacksonville at 1408 on runway 25 and after a short taxi we arrived at about 1415 at gate C10. The crew wished me good luck on re-retrieving my passport. Entering the gate area I was suprised that the return flight to Miami was already ready to board again. Departure time was 1440.

Since the incident with my passport I did not give the paper of details also this report is lacking some pics. Herefore my apologies.

The walk to the main terminal seemed to take forever. As did the wait for the lugage. At 1510 I called the hotel shuttle to pick me up. At 1530 I was checked in and in my room in the Mariot Courtyard in Jacksonville

OMG! So, how did you enjoy your stay here in West Palm Beach? Did you see any sights that you were impressed by? I guess, as a local - we pass by the sights without even hitting another glance, but how was it? Anyway, I can't wait to read more about your trip!!! Keep 'em coming!
