I took NWA's new (started 3-29-2008 ) flight from Portland to Amsterdam on May 18. NW92, a 330-200,
tail number N852NW.
We pushed back right on time at 16:05 and were in daylight all the way, arriving at AMS at 11:00, May 19.
Most trans-Atlantic and trans-Pacific flights offer little to see, but this one is much better. Along the way
we saw the midnight sun (at 00:00 New York time) and mountains in Greenland.

Flight route. Not quite over the pole, but near enough.

I've always found Northwest service to be good. No better or no worse than the many others I have flown.
On many NWA flights, including this one, I have used my World Perks miles and have always had very good treatment in booking, etc.
