Even the sturdy MI2 isn't a very good tree trimmer!

It looks like it does a pretty good job of tree trimming - I think the issue is more one of reusability. I doubt they intended it to be disposable. :p

The owners might have been so penny pinching that they ordered the instructor and trainee to combine both uses.:lol:Looks the guys won't try their lucks as timberjacks

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt. :nonono:
Sorry to hear that the old guy was killed in the accident. At 100, there's not a lot of mileage left on the odometer, but I'm sure he is well missed by his family. Especially when they went to the trouble of arranging this flight for him.

It just says "Ride" so I don't think he was at the controls. Mind Boggles what was going on there.
I've edited the title, could you guys please tidy up your posts being aware this caused a loss of a life.

I am certainly all for sarcastic humor, but the fact that this was a fatal accident makes it uncalled-for.
Is there any idea what happened here?
That was all over the place, from the initial liftoff.

The crash was dramatic, and I must admit that having a visual reminder is always worse for family and friends that are left to grieve the departed. Hopefully this will encourage more to be much more carefull and know that things can go wrong when in the air, and that they can go wrong very quickly at that. My thoughts and condolensces are with the friends and family of those that lost their lives, and to those souls that were lost during this accident.
