An F-27 freight aircraft, TC-MBG, was seriously damaged - most likely beyond economic repair, after a tug collided with its left prop and engine, at Edinburgh Airport, Scotland.
TC-MBG is seen here in Jersey, last September.

looks like the GPU bore the brunt of the damage, i really cant see how it happened, if the GPU is positioned on or around engine no. 2 they always start no. 1, then start no. 2 when ground equipment is clear. i dont mean to apportion blame, but i once had a very close encounter with some foreigner in an An-72 :-x
